water. Gain water independence!
SORA is an autonomous recycling device for the reuse of gray water . Gray water comes from your home's sink, shower, washing machine, and dishwasher. You can recycle more than % of that water in your home for reuse or irrigation. Even more innovative, SORA has been designed to also create a separate source of clean drinking water . This machine will help you conserve water effortlessly and save money.
Solar powered gray water recycler that produces clean drinking water.
This machine has the potential to conserve on a large scale, give back to the planet and save money on your water bill.
Mother Nature knows best, especially in water restoration and purification . Through the design of SORA Water Saver, they have mimicked the hydrological cycle and the many ecologies that filter water, fr Caseno Email List om streams to slow-flowing wetlands, creating a simple solution to reduce water consumption in homes.
Gray water recycler
All current home water recycling systems use high-maintenance methods that require constant attention, such as replacing expensive filters and manually monitoring performance.
The SORA Gray Water Recycler is distinguished from existing water recycling; as it makes water conservation as easy as nature intended. From self-monitoring of water quality to management of optimal energy sources.
How does the gray water recycler work?
The SORA water recycler uses technology that requires no expensive replacement parts or costly maintenance. It is designed to self-regulate and allow you to effortlessly reuse a large percentage of water from appliances (excluding toilets) and create drinking water simultaneously.
Gray water recycler
The gray water recycler system works with a series of purification steps. The machine is basically a water treatment plant in a box. First, water flows stabilize, allowing solids to settle and reducing stress on the system. The water then passes through a series of anaerobic and aerobic reactors, which resemble the soil layer near a river or stream, with limited oxygen. Microbes in a probiotic enrichment layer digest most health-threatening impurities.
The aerobic (oxygenated) contact zone has a biofilter that supports aerobic microbes that treat the water and also disinfect unwanted contaminants. Active sand filtration is used, which further disinfects and removes micro-sized particles. Taking things a step further, the solar still can purify water using sunlight and electrically assisted evaporation, making it % free of impurities and completely drinkable. At the end of the recycling process, our machine collects two levels of water purity:
Water for use in appliances or irrigation
Water to drink
Gray water recycler
The project was created by a group of Engineering graduates (Dustin Kash, Christopher O'Day, Juliana Welch and Tod Dubois) who have been working tirelessly to manifest water independence. The help they have obtained from California Polytechnic State University and Sangha Energy has been a valuable resource for them, and they note that this vision has become a reality.
They currently offer this prototype for sale as a kit for early adopters. That prototype kit will not be the certified product, but will be able to treat water for plumbing and irrigation reuse in an experimental setting. What is sold as a working prototype is for experimental/educational purposes only, and although the prototype kit will have advanced laboratory water testing, the accuracy of FDA regulated water quality will not be guaranteed until it has been developed and tested. the prototype. There are different kits available:
$ – Basic Solar Still Plans + Custom Components, Solar Power Not Included, DIY Assembly, UV Disinfection, Partially Automated, Best Paired with Gray Water Treatment
$ – Greywater Treatment Plans, Solar Still Works, DIY Assembly, Partially Automated, for Water Reuse and Irrigation
$ – Solar Still Plans + Custom Components, Includes Solar Power and UV Disinfection, DIY Assembly, Partially Automated, for Potable Reuse Experimentation
$ – Greywater Treatment Plan Combo + Basic Solar Still
$ – Gray Water Treatment Plans + Solar Still Combo
Once they optimize the design and it is available on the market, early adopters will be able to upgrade their kits. They will also provide detailed instructions on assembly and application, and will also be available to respond via telephone, live chat and email to help users.
