Here are the lyrics: I get up, and nothing gets me down. You got it tough. I've seen the toughest soul around. And I know, baby, just how you feel. You've got to roll with the punches to get to what's real Oh can't you see me standing here, I've got my back against the record machine I ain't the worst that you've seen. Oh can't you see what I mean?
Might as well jump. Jump! Might as well jump. Go ahead, jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump.
Aaa-ohh Hey you! Who said that Baby how you bee ? You say you don't know, you won't know until you begin. Well can't you see me standing here, I've got my back against the record machine I ain't the worst that you've seen. Oh can't you see what I mean?
Might as well jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump. Might as well jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump. Jump!
(guitar solo) (keyboard solo)
Might as well jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump. Get it and jump. Jump! Go ahead, jump Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump!

Van Halen rocked the planet. I saw them in the 80s here in Austin and at the time it was one of the best concerts I had ever seen, besides Blues legend Lightnin Hopkins at some big huge park in Houston. David Lee Roth was an entertainer maximus in that show. Surrounded by a pretty good cast of musicians too : ) KLBJ FM / Austin played Running With The Devil 10-15 times a day when it was new. I remember running out and spending my last bit of money to buy the album even though my fridge was completely empty.

Oh I remember them as if it was YESTERDAY on afternoon playing and working with my friends, in the Barn yard in Litter town called Allegheny. I couldn't wait to hear Jump on the radio each day. The 80s was the best year for rock bands as far as I'm concern and I am very happy to be a teen during that time.
Another song played a lot was Hot for Teacher on MTV
